BIOGRAPHY
Originally born in Ireland but lived mainly in London and New York, John Bourke’s interest in writing and the media world in general goes back many years. He is the son of Irish historian, author and newspaper editor, Marcus Bourke. His involvement in writing started initially doing  guest editorials on the music industry, which he was then involved in back in the 1980s and 1990s. He then moved on to write about politics in the 2000s for various UK and US titles and websites before ending up as Contributing Editor to the legendary PRAVDA newsite and most recently doing analysis for the Russia Today TV network. He is currently developing a number of film screenplays in addition to a book he is working on.
